Support, Partnership & Recognition
Vernon Lutheran Church
"...welcome the opportunity to continue our partnership through using the Mukwonago Food Pantry as a future meal site. Thanks so much for your partnership and your willingness to allow us to work together in helping the poor." Pastor Glenn Zimbelman St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. James Parish-Mukwonago "...would like to offer you our very sincere thanks for your generous donation of meat and other food items for our upcoming bag lunch program...without the food donated to the program by the Mukwonago Food Pantry, our Society's resources would be quite strained. We hope to continue cooperating with you and the Mukwonago Food Pantry in helping fill the needs of people in our community." Rosemary Paprocki-Secretary. Prison Ministry-Racine County "Thank you for the donation of two word processors. I put them to good use so fast it made even my head spin! They went to two young ladies in hopes they can learn to type and work around a keyboard for further training. The Mac is still here...it is going to be donated to the Woman's Resource Center in Racine, a shelter for women escaping abuse." Reverend Ginny Stuve The Women's Center, Inc. "Thank you for continuing to offer meeting space at the Mukwonago Food Pantry for staff at The Women's Center to meet with clients. On behalf of the entire Women's Center staff, I look forward to continuing this collaborative relationship in order to reach families in the outlying areas of Waukesha County who are in need of Women's Center services. Thank you again for providing valuable service to Waukesha County Residents." Jenny von Helms, M.Ed. Director of Employment, Volunteer, and Family Support Programs WI Community Services, Inc.-Waukesha "...I have found the Mukwonago Food Pantry to be a beneficial non-profit site for juveniles in the community to fulfill their obligation. The pantry has developed an actual Community Service Program that provides opportunity and specific guidelines juveniles need to follow in order to serve in the agency. This both assist the juvenile to be successful and hold them accountable, reinforcing responsibility. As many of the cases have been "challenging" (if not difficult), the supervisors have been understanding, yet resolve. Keep in mind that not all, but many of these juveniles in trouble come from difficult situations, without a lot of support to succeed. Due to their dedication to assist juveniles with this need/requirement, I have been able to notify Waukesha County Juvenile Court and Waukesha County Department of Health and Human Services of many juvenile successes, and, of course, the kids themselves have completed something worthwhile." Karen Minster Juvenile Restitution Community Programs Healthy Families of Waukesha County, Inc. "...sincerely thank the Mukwonago Food Pantry for their donation of baby formula.. .our families really appreciate receiving this formula for their new babies. Thank you again for your generous donation and support for Healthy Families of Waukesha County, Inc. whose vision is that all children will be raised within safe and healthy families." Kathryn Bergner Executive Director UW Cooperate Extension-Waukesha County "On behalf of Waukesha County University of Wisconsin Extension, I want to thank you for collaborating with our facility and staff in their many educational endeavors. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing our working relationship as we provide educational programs that meet the needs of the diverse citizens of Waukesha County."
